For many families, attending sports games has become a luxury due to the increasing costs associated with the live game experience. With the 2013-14 NBA season having just begun, it’s important for basketball fans to know how they can cut the escalating costs of attending a game. To address this, we asked the following questions as we analyzed the costs of attending a home game for each of the 30 NBA teams:

1. How much do various items commonly purchased at sporting events – tickets, beer, soda, hot dogs and parking – cost at every NBA arena?

We looked at median 2013-14 ticket prices on the resale market for each team, along with average prices of 16 oz.

The proud Golden State Warriors have a rich and historical history of winning in the NBA. With most of the world not even realizing that the team had last won a championship in the 1970s, the franchise suffered with being labeled as an underachiever.

They found a way to turn it around, however.

With the current Golden State Warriors being one of the most notable franchises in the NBA today, Dub Nation has evolved into a basketball powerhouse reeling off three NBA titles over a four-year span (2015, 2017, 2018). Their five NBA titles put them behind only three franchises, which are the Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers.

«Easy to pick seats, everything was smooth, would definitely purchase from SeatGeek again!»

«I love how easy and fast the website works. They have some of the lowest prices around.»

The Golden State Warriors have only existed in their current form since 1971, after moving from Philadelphia to San Francisco before settling in as the Golden State Warriors. But despite being fairly new under their current name, the team has made plenty of history and have spent some of that time as one of the most fun to watch teams in the history of the NBA.

As far as periods of success are concerned, the Golden State Warriors’ run from 2015 to 2018 was one of the best in NBA history.

Since 2009, TicketIQ (formerly TiqIQ) has used its intelligence to help fans get the best deals, and now offers a Low Price Guarantee on every event.

Single-game tickets on the primary market for the 2019-20 Golden State Warriors are currently available. The team will play its first season in the state-of-the-art Chase Center in San Francisco’s Mission District.  Single-game tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on September 18th.

On the secondary market TicketIQ has Low Price Guarantees on Golden State Warriors tickets for all games on the 2019 schedule, and all NBA tickets. That means that if you find a secondary market ticket for less on a site like StubHub or SeatGeek, we’ll give you 200% of the difference in ticket credit.

If there is one NBA game that you should attend this year, it should be the Golden State Warriors! A live Warriors game is always an action-packed time. This American basketball team based in San Francisco, CA are sure to bring an exciting game to you. Grab your blue and gold and be a part of the excitement!

The Golden State Warriors were established in 1946 as the Philadelphia Warriors, they then moved to San Francisco in 1962, and officially changed their name to the Golden State Warriors in 1971 to reflect the state of California.

They also moved to their new home venue in 1971, the Oracle Arena.

The Warriors have hosted NBA greats such as Wilt Chamberlain and Stephen Curry, who were both nominated for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player while playing for the team. Currently, the Warriors are a major force to be reckoned with.

Golden state warriors biography

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors’ sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers was the tipping point for one prominent sports reporter.

Greg Cote, a sports columnist for the Miami Herald who covered the Heat’s Big 3 era up close during their four-year run earlier this decade, said Tuesday on ESPN’s «Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz» that watching a Kevin Durant-less Golden State team sweep Portland in the Western Conference Final convinced him that the modern Warriors are the greatest NBA team ever put together.

“They’re the best team ever,» said Cote, who grew up watching the Celtics’ dynasty before beginning his journalism career in the 1970s. They’ve won three of the last four titles.

Steph Curry sat down after an insane three-quarter performance: He hit 11 threes before sitting in the fourth quarter.

Was that his greatest game ever? Let’s look back and rank his all-time best performances.

Curry stats: 49 points on 16-of-24 shooting, 8-of-13 from three, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals

A statement game against a tough Celtics team with a four-point win. He hit a key three late to put the Dubs up by 98-95 before the team pulled away.

Curry stats: 44 points on 14-of-26 shooting, 8-of-13 from three, 4 assists

The Warriors won 95-90, which means Curry scored nearly 50 percent of Golden State’s points.

Nobody expected much from the scrawny point guard that the Golden State Warriors drafted early in the 2009 NBA draft. However, in only a span of four years, Stephen Curry has revolutionized the game of basketball.

His fast-paced run and gun style of play is something that every team is attempting to recreate.

A perfect example of this is the Atlanta Hawks and Trae Young.

In many ways, Young is a carbon copy of Curry, in terms of play style at least.

It’s safe to say Young will never have the impact that Curry has had.

Curry broke out as an all-star in the 2013-14 NBA season. Since then, he has been selected to four more All-Star teams, five All-NBA teams and on the receiving end of two MVP awards. For a brief moment in time, Curry was considered the best player on the planet.

Throughout the years, Steph has had a number of notable games.

Golden State’s chances of reaching a sixth-straight NBA finals already appear slim.

But they still have a solid core – and a chance to rebuild their roster

It took six games for the Warriors’ story to change. In a 288-minute blur, they plummeted from the top of the league to its cellar, a cruel fate for a team widely considered to be one of the best to ever play in the NBA.

The onslaught began at this year’s NBA finals, when the Warriors lost Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to injuries in back-to-back games, destroying their championship hopes and leaving the next season dangling on the already tenuous fibers of Stephen Curry’s battered extremities.

The latest blow came on Wednesday evening.

The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers both had their struggles in the playoffs, but it’s no surprise to see them face off in the NBA Finals for a fourth straight year. There’s tons of talent between the two teams, making for another star-studded matchup.

The best-of-seven series will feature the league’s top three players, having accounted for seven MVP awards in the last decade. Golden State and Cleveland have six All-Stars between them, as well as the 2015 NBA Finals MVP winner. The No.4 three-point shooter of all time will also play a key role in the series.

This is the one constant that’s remained through all four Warriors-Cavaliers matchups. James is still the best basketball player on the planet, and the gap between him and the league’s No.2 star might be wider than it was a year ago.

9:24 PMThe Golden State Warriors hosted two special guests at Tuesday’s practice: entrepreneur Dr. Dre and his longtime friend and business partner Jimmy Iovine.

Director of player programs Jonnie West set up the visit as part of the Warriors’ annual business of basketball meeting.

Coming off their worst loss of the season–a defeat at the hands of the Phoenix Suns at home–the Golden State Warriors showed championship resolve for really the first time during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Golden State Warriors have been the talk of the NBA this season, as they attempt to defend their championship from a year ago. They are on pace to break the all-time single-season win total of 72, held by the 1995 to 1996 Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls.

As reigning champions, it’s no surprise they have an outstanding record this year, but few saw a potential record-breaking season in the making. The Warriors’ success can be attributed to many long-proven strong business principles.

In an era where every off-season’s headlines are dominated by talk of what free agent will sign with which new team, the Warriors are different. They have developed the core of their team through the NBA draft.

The Golden State Warriors are on pace to set the NBA record for most wins in a season, breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ record of 72.

But according to Las Vegas sportsbooks, the Warriors will get only one game closer to 72 wins this weekend, when they’ll play a Texas back-to-back, starting Friday in Dallas.

Golden State opened as four-point underdogs to the Spurs for their Saturday night game in San Antonio.

BetOnline has opened Spurs -4 against the Warriors tomorrow night. Would be just the 3rd time GS has closed as a dog this year (2-0 ATS).

The Dubs being underdogs to the Spurs shouldn’t be much of a surprise.

From the 2016-17 season to the conclusion of the 2018-19 season, the Celtics v.

the Warriors was seen by many as a potential NBA Finals preview.

For years, Boston was a thorn in the side of the Bay Area dynasty, picking up four wins in eight attempts since 2015.

To most teams, splitting the season series isn’t a blip on the radar.

Ranking the Top 10 Players in Golden State Warriors History | Bleacher Report | Latest News, Videos and HighlightsBleacher Report LogoFacebook LogoTwitter LogoCopy Link IconTwitter LogoComment Bubble IconFacebook LogoTwitter LogoCopy Link IconBleacher Report LogoFacebook LogoTwitter LogoInstagram LogoTurner Logo

Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant have led Golden State to back-to-back NBA championships, but where do those current stars rank on the list of the all-time great Warriors?

This top 10 is based on a combination of individual statistics, team success and number of years on the roster, in that descending order of importance.

With six NBA titles, four other trips to the Finals in franchise history and 10 players who have scored more than 10,000 points in a Warriors uniform, it wasn’t difficult to find worthy candidates.

All three data points were important, but there weren’t any minimum thresholds for consideration. For example, Wilt Chamberlain played just five-plus seasons with the Warriors and never won a title, but he was an obvious top-five selection due to his individual dominance.

It has not been the most flattering few weeks for Steph Curry.

The ur-Splash Brother has seemingly alternated between foul trouble and off shooting nights for most of the playoffs. Curry is averaging only 18.3 points per game in the second round, and his postseason scoring, assists, and efficiency have all been worse compared to the regular season. That this has all happened in the shadow of Kevin Durant forcefully earning the title of “Best Player Alive” has put a bigger spotlight on Steph’s struggles.

Durant is now unquestionably the best player on the Warriors, and then some.

And the diverging paths between Curry and Durant have breathed new life into the debate about which player has been better all along.

That’s actually an easy debate to settle. In a vacuum, Durant has always been a better player since joining Golden State.

The Golden State Warriors are one victory shy of their third title in four years and their official NBA dynasty designation.

Their All-Star collection is maybe the best ever assembled, and it can be as overwhelming as that sounds. There isn’t as much depth as there has been, but the puzzle pieces have mostly fit where needed.

In other words, «Strength in Numbers» is more than a slogan. It epitomizes how this club has successfully conquered almost all challengers year after year.

But there’s still a hierarchy within the ranks, one that has shape-shifted a few times this postseason to adjust to injuries.

A list of the best Golden State Warriors of all time.

As one of the the charter NBA franchises, the Warriors have a history that’s as rich as any team in the league. Some of the best players in NBA history have played for the Warriors, even when they were in Philadelphia.

The team played for 16 seasons in Philadelphia before moving to San Francisco in 1962.

The Warriors had the biggest name of those early NBA years on its roster in Wilt Chamberlain.

«The Big Dipper» is widely considered one of the best centers of all time.

As a Warrior, Chamberlain scored an NBA record 100 points in a single game, one of the greatest achievements in all of sports.

In 1975, the Warriors won its second championship on the strength of one of the best players of all time in Rick Barry.

Previous names: San Francisco Warriors (1962-1971), Philadelphia Warriors (1946-1962).

This has been the Golden State Warriors slogan for a reason.

Though they have stacked the deck in terms of talent in recent years, it will truly take a team effort to be competitive this season.

The Dubs front office has managed to recover from a brutal offseason. Numerous players left the team, including the superstar Kevin Durant and former Finals MVP Andre Iguodala. Other role players such as Shaun Livingston, DeMarcus Cousins and Quinn Cook made their departures as well.

This left the Warriors with Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and an injured Klay Thompson to carry the franchise. A last-second move to acquire D’Angelo Russell in the chaos of KD’s decision kept the Warriors in title contention.

With the season quickly approaching, it’s time to make sense of the drastic changes the Dubs roster has undergone.

Golden state warriors best player

The NBA arms race is not just about getting on-court talent, but appealing to players and topping other franchises off of it. From the sounds of it, the Golden State Warriors are winning there, too.

Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala was on Christopher Lochhead’s «Follow Your Different» podcast and said the off-court perks of playing with the Warriors make it like a «fantasy land.»

«We always tell the young guys, our rookies, ‘Listen, this isn’t the real NBA.

Andre Iguodala entered the NBA as the ninth overall pick in the 2004 draft. He has played for three franchises — Philadelphia, Denver and Golden State.

The soon-to-be 35-year-old (his birthday is Jan. 28) knows a thing or two about life in the NBA, and understands how great he has it playing for the Warriors.

«I tell the guys — I came into the NBA 15 years ago, and we’ve always had good planes. But the Warriors are pretty special,» Iguodala explained on the Christopher Lochhead Podcast.

«We always tell the young guys, our rookies — ‘Listen, this isn’t the real NBA.

This is kind of like a fantasy land.’

«We’re a step above a good team.

The Golden State Warriors is an American Professional basketball team that competes in the National Basketball Association in the league’s Western Conference Pacific Division. The team is based in Oakland, California and plays their home matches at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The Warriors have reached 9 NBA Finals and winning 5 of them in the seasons 1947, 1956, 1975, 2015, and 2017. The team comes as the 3rd most valuable team in the NBA with an estimated worth of $2.6 billion according to Forbes.

The team was first formed in 1946 as Philadelphia Warriors located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and from 1962 the team relocated to San Francisco Bay Area and consequently renamed the San Francisco Warriors.

While the Golden State Warriors built a lasting legacy at Oracle Arena in Oakland, the organization was in dire need of a new home arena. Particularly one that offered more premium seating options for the Bay Area’s strong corporate presence. Nevertheless, attending any professional sporting event in San Francisco will be an expensive outing for regular fans.

That’s why it’s important to purchase the best seats that your budget will allow.

Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Chase Center seating chart to help basketball fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Golden State Warriors tickets.

The Chase Center is not a symmetrical arena compared to the old Oracle Arena. The bulk of the Chase Center’s seating is located on the lower and upper levels.
